2021
- Gabby Gilmer was accepted into the Geroscience T32 Training Program (https://dom.pitt.edu/geri/training/btresearchtraining/t32-training/) mentor- Dr. Ambrosio. This is a one-year NIH-funded training grant with the goal of producing young researchers who are well-versed in multidisciplinary aging research and can ultimately use these skills in future clinical and translational aging research.

- The 24th Annual Carnegie Science Awards presented The Life Sciences Award to Dr. Fabrisia Ambrosio. This award recognizes and honors scientific advances in new and innovative biomedical endeavors that benefit the economy, health, or societal wellbeing of the Western Pennsylvania region.
