This trend has led to the development of revolutionary technologies, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Although magnetic field modulation to develop images of biological structures is well-understood and widely applied, the use of magnetic fields as a therapy is a relatively new application. In our preliminary work, we found that static, 400 \u00b5T magnetic field exposure oriented perpendicular to the injury site results in \u201cwound closure\u201d in a 2D culture of muscle progenitor cells.
