CALITHEA, meaning “beautiful goddess” and “a beautiful view of you,” is the evolution of skincare. Our online company provides organic and authentically Greek products designed to enhance a person’s inner self and beauty. CALITHEA believes in the beauty of simplicity. Using 100% extra virgin olive oil and the purest ingredients, our blend of organic olive oil and olive oil liquid crystals has a special structure, which we have carefully incorporated into our skincare creams and lotions to bring you optimal benefits. Our mission is to educate and empower individuals on proper skin and body care through clean, natural solutions. We believe skincare should go beyond appearance by helping individuals feel confident, radiant, and truly comfortable in their own skin.
CALITHEA is focused on redefining healthy, natural skin and body care with simplicity. CALITHEA was founded in 2016 by father-daughter duo George and Elena Kazas. CALITHEA blends expertise with passion. George brings years of experience in building and developing small businesses, along with formal training from Formula Botanica’s Organic Cosmetic Science program.
Elena Kazas, a graduate of Robert Morris University with both a BSBA and MBA, brings a modern vision rooted in wellness and self-care. Inspired by her yia yia (grandmother), she developed a deep appreciation for natural beauty rituals and is committed to helping others embrace a healthier, more confident lifestyle. Together, they created CALITHEA, which officially launched online in 2018 to honor the time-tested skincare traditions of ancient Greece. Ingredients like olive oil, aloe vera, prickly pear, pomegranate, donkey milk, and honey have been used for centuries to nourish and protect the skin—and remain at the heart of every product we create.
CALITHEA was formed based on three strong beliefs: that everyone should enjoy the benefits of clean, natural, organic skin and body care, that people should feel good about themselves inside and out since beauty is within each one of us, and that “all good things of this earth come from this earth.”
